A few weeks ago, on the airplane coming back for Paris, there were several fellow citizens dressed in tracksuits. No, they were not athletes, their body shape was more similar to that of a lumberjack (and I don’t mean the American lumbersexuals), eating and drinking a lot, without a care in the world for the way they look. Since the liberalization of the way we dress, people have become careless, indifferent to what they wear. On the contrary, it is as if they wanted to show how bad fashion has become.

I do not know who told them how to dress, but I would say that:

Tracksuits are for going to the gym or for staying in.

Super loose shoes are not attractive

Comfortable does not mean shabby

The bare ankle of a man in a tracksuit, is rather disgusting

Beards are ok, provided they are well-groomed

Dandruff, whether on a tracksuit or any other piece of clothing, is never trendy; the same stands for the smell of sweat.

Therefore, if someone was not endowed with a keen aesthetic sense, maybe dressing the traditional way (simple jeans, shirt) would be better than going out dressed the same way as if you were sitting on a couch, watching TV in the company of beer.
